Time Activity  Organisation
2:00 - 3:00pm Poetry Slam Workshop Jamal Raslan
3:00 - 4:00pm Build Cool Robots Workshop RoboThink
4:15 - 5:15pm Upcycle Cloth Pouch Workshop Me.reka
5:30 - 6:30pm Brush Lettering Workshop Beaconhouse Schools

During our fun workshop session, students will learn how to build cool robots using bricks, cells, wheels, sensors, electric motors, servos and much more! Normally, we get students to build an “Electric Fan” using our kits as an introductory workshop. However, we have many others to choose from, e.g. Soccer Bot (if all the participants are >8 years old as this is more challenging to do within 1 hour for younger participants) or Battle Bots. However in order to run Battle Bots effectively, we need a bit more time for them to battle it out!

Release your creativity and join Beaconhouse Malaysia for their Brush lettering workshop. Brush lettering is a beautiful craft that can be used to design your own cards and artwork. It will enhance any creative piece and give joy to those who experience the free flow of the brush. During the class children will experience the beauty and flow of using the brush pen, learn and practise the basic strokes and alphabet lettering. They will create a beautiful and individual take home piece. No previous experience is necessary, just come along and create a beautiful piece of artwork.

There will be a worksheet provided for practising letters. The session will be divided into two and it's suitable for the children age 9 to 12 years old. (each session 10 children max)
Each session will take half an hour.
It will be conducted by Ms Jenny Chong.
Children will be guided to design a card and to write a quote related to their future/educational which they can bring home as a souvenir as well.
